Euro Motors, the exclusive dealer and distributor for luxury automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover in Bahrain, has announced that its new $30 million showroom will be ready by the end of this year.

Construction of the showroom is well underway and nearing completion, with a targeted date of its inauguration being towards the last quarter of 2015, it said in a statement.

Located next to the existing Euro Motors showroom in Sitra, the two level showroom will spread over 5,000 sq m and will house new as well as approved Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles for a minimum of the next 10 years, it added.

The new showroom will also incorporate a workshop with its capacity more than twice that of the current workshop. This will allow work on 32 vehicles at a time, with total staffing levels rising to a total of 100 technical and non-technical personnel.

Nawaf Al Zayani, managing director of Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover said: "This is Euro Motors' most aggressive investment strategy in showroom development in recent years.

"Gauging from the massive size of development and the worth of the investment, the showroom is set to substantially raise the standards for all other dealers in Bahrain.

"Initially, the amount that was specified for the construction of the showroom was set at $25 million but in order to ensure the provision of the very best facilities that comply with the Jaguar Land Rover requirements and elite standards, we decided to increase the original budget considerably to $30 million so as to include every service possible to guarantee utmost convenience to our customers.

Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover said sales figures for 2014 rose by 41 percent.
