Bahrain-based Investcorp has announced the purchase of KO Campus, based in Eschborn, Germany from Cilon for about €86 million ($99.5 million).

The acquisition is Investcorp’s second real estate investment in Germany, the company said in a statement.

The newly renovated KO Campus is a modern office campus situated in the commercial area of Eschborn, part of the Frankfurt Rhein-Main urban area.

It comprises three office buildings totaling approximately 40,000 square metres and houses tenants across a diverse set of sectors, including manufacturing, retail and technology.

In April, Investcorp announced its first German real estate deal. Together with Continuum Capital Investment Management, Investcorp purchased the Burocampus Wangen based in Stuttgart.

Hazem Ben-Gacem, co-CEO of Investcorp, said: “This acquisition forms an exciting addition to our diversified portfolio of prime assets, and we believe that we are well-positioned to add value to this investment... we believe we are on the right track to continue to identify opportunities in the sector.”
