Bahrain-based Investcorp has announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Ticket Holding, known as Vivaticket, from its co-founders.
Vivaticket’s co-founders and management team will continue to remain involved in the business and hold a meaningful stake in the company, Investcorp said, adding that the transaction is expected to close by year-end.
Established in 1999, Vivaticket is a global provider of integrated ticketing software solutions to the leisure and entertainment, sport, culture and tradeshow industries.
It has a presence with over 2,100 clients spanning 50 countries, including some of the world’s leading brands such as Walt Disney World, Musée du Louvre and FC Barcelona.
Headquartered in Bologna, Italy, the company employs 450 people and has established operations in 10 countries across Europe, the Middle East, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
