Tradewind appoints Peter Maerevoet as senior executive officer of its Middle East division in Dubai

Tradewind Finance's regional office is located in Emirates Financial Towers, DIFC, and is regulated by the DFSA. 

Tradewind has appointed Peter Maerevoet to the role of senior executive officer for its Middle East entity in Dubai, UAE.

Mr. Maerevoet’s appointment will help drive the strategy, growth, and profitability for the region. He will execute this role leveraging his experience as the current global Chief Financial Officer of the firm as well as his knowledge from past leadership positions held throughout his career.

Tradewind anticipates expanding on its market success in the region with the guidance and international business acumen of Mr. Maerevoet. His expertise will be used to manage operations, allocate resources and inform financial decisions for the group.

Previously, Mr. Maerevoet worked for Procter & Gamble in various European countries and for Levi Strauss & Co in the USA, where he oversaw senior finance functions and honed a deep understanding of global business strategies. He holds a master’s degree in economics and an MBA from the University of Antwerp in Belgium.
