Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts is to manage the first freehold development in Dubai’s Jumeirah district.

The US $550 million Acacia Avenues development will be operated under the company’s Angsana Resorts & Spa brand.

Kuwait’s Abyaar Real Estate Development, which is to build the freehold development, has announced that Banyan Tree will deliver “five-star hotel-style services” for residents, which will include 24-hour room service, concierge services and transportation, and chef and private butler options.

Located close to Dubai Knowledge Village and designed as a gated community, Acacia Avenues will feature contemporary villas and apartments, gardens, and extensive leisure and retail facilities, including a health club, spa, swimming pools and squash courts.
