450,000 barrels a day pipeline could be completed by 2015
Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) is considering the construction of a $350m oil pipeline that would link the eastern province of Saudi Arabia with the its refinery, Arab News reported.
The pipeline would have a total capacity would of 450,000 barrels a day, and be completed by 2015, the newspaper reported, citing Naji Ahamed, a spokesman for Bapco.
An agreement between state-owned Saudi Arabian Oil Company, also known as Aramco and Bapco allows the pumping of 250,000 b/d of crude oil to Bahrain.
