Belconn on the upswing

Telecommunications and data network solution provider Belconn, sees GITEX Technology Week as an opportunity to build its brand in the region.

Telecommunications and data network solution provider Belconn, sees GITEX Technology Week as an opportunity to build its brand in the region.

"We see this as a huge brand building exercise. A lot of people from across the region visit this IT show. And it is a fantastic opportunity to get across what Belconn does, the kind of products that we offer and how we can add value to business," says Nader Khalil, account manager at Belconn Middle East.

Besides brand-buidling, Khalil states that GITEX also offers the company a chance to meet both existing and potential customers from across the region.

"We have on our stand our new Rotax, as well as cabing solutions. This is our third year at GITEX and every year we have had a successful event," adds Khalil.

The Italian-company prides itself on manufacturing everything from its home base. It has had an office in Dubai since 2006, and is searching for channel partners to expand its coverage.
