Big investment programme from MDS

Mideast Data systems has opened a new call centre to supply support services to its customers in the region.

Mideast Data systems has opened a new call centre to supply support services to its customers in the region. The Abu Dhabi centre, which has been set up at a cost of two million dirhams, will provide 24-7 support.The call centre is part of a wider programme of expansion which MDS is undertaking, that will see the establishment of a number of subsidiary companies serving different markets.Sami Abi Esber, executive director of MDS UAE Holdings, said that the group plans to establish a subsidiary company to focus on asset management, e-procurement, e-commerce and web services software, based in the UAE with branches in Saudi Arabia and Turkey.MDS also plans to open launch new subsidiary companies to focus on business solutions and on data storage solutions.“These investments show our commitment to serve our customers in the IT industry, in addition to our trust in the local and regional economies,” said Abi Esber.
