Blur, Florence + The Machine and Enrique Iglesias have been announced as the headline acts of this year's Yasalam festival in Abu Dhabi, the entertainment arm of the F1 Grand Prix weekend in the capital, reported.

The huge acts will play to 60,000 people on November 29, 28 and 27 respectively.

Beats On The Beach also returns on November 26, and runs for three nights, as part of Live On The Corniche. This year it will feature Bamboo (November 26), Wael Kfoury (November 27), J.Cole (November 27), and Faithless (November 28).

Access to the main concerts at du Arena is only available to those buying tickets for the race, qualifying or pre-qualifying. Earlier in September, it was claimed that the coveted passes were selling at Lewis Hamilton-style pace, with Lounge North, Abu Dhabi Hill and West Grandstand completely sold out. A three-day pass can cost between AED1,000 ($272) and AED4,685. The most luxurious package, that in Paddock Club, will set fans back nearly AED20,000.

The Yasalam after-race concerts, which were first staged in 2009, have become as big as the Formula One races themselves, with rumours of the line-up swirling for months in the lead up.

Stars like Jay Z, Pharrell, Beyonce, The Who, Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Eminem and Britney Spears have all taken to the stage over the last six years. As well as the main events, other pop-ups also happen over the capital, such as the popular Beats On The Beach, which last year featured Jason Derulo and Rita Ora.

Earlier this summer, the line up for the Arabic events - a key part of the festival since 2013 - were announced, with Algerian singer Cheb Khaled, Lebanese singer Fares Karam, Emirati singer Aryam and Lebanese producer DJ Said Mrad confirmed for November 26.

For more information on ticket packages, visit or contact the Yas Marina Circuit on 800 927 or call 02 659 9800. Tickets are also available at all Etihad shops and Virgin Megastores.

The Formula One FanZone on West Plaza starts on November 19, in line with the Opening Parade, a whole week before the main event weekend.

Elsewhere in town, Get Driver Fit is a free seven-week fitness programme, starting October 6, available to anyone, broken down to classes, challenges and a lab that will help foster competitive elements for schools across the city. There will also be a new muscle beach erected on the Abu Dhabi Corniche.

Another main pillar of Yasalam 2015 is the Emerging Talent Contest which has been running since August 17. Speaking at the press conference today, Kamal Musallam, a local star, revealed he is looking for more than a musician, 'someone totally at ease in the industry and the promotion and other elements that are required to succeed'.
