AGMC, the importer of BMW Group cars in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, has announced that it will further expand its business operations in Dubai with the opening of a new AED200 million ($54.4 million) BMW and MINI facility in Dubai Motor City.
The new 100,000 square foot development, which is due to launch in 2017, will be the first automotive dealership to open in the Dubai Motor City area, the company said in a statement.
Stathis I Stathis, managing director of Albatha Automotive Group, the parent company of AGMC, said: "This additional investment will allow us to further cater for the growth of the brands and better serve our loyal customers.
"Our new state-of-the-art facility will ensure customers get the best possible service and ownership experience, including a showroom to comfortably display 30 new and 40 pre-owned BMW and MINI cars," he added.
With work due to be completed at the end of 2017, the new facility will feature a Mobile Customizer, an iPad App enabling live car configuration and demonstration during consultations.
Johannes Seibert, managing director of BMW Group Middle East, said: "Looking ahead, we will continue to work with AGMC to offer our customers outstanding products and services in sales and after-sales, and find ways in which to not only meet but exceed their expectations."
In addition to the new AED200 million Dubai Motor Show facility, AGMC said it has invested more than AED100 million over the past five years across all areas of the business including new facilities in Fujairah and Deira, and a new workshop for BMW and MINI.For all the latest retail news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
