Brother launches world's first A3 colour inkjet MFC

Brother Gulf has launched the world's first A3 Colour Inkjet Multifunction Centre (MFC) at GITEX Technology Week.

Brother Gulf has launched the world's first A3 Colour Inkjet Multifunction Centre (MFC) at GITEX Technology Week.

The model, designated MFC-6490CW, is part of the ‘Justio' series and is the first ever ‘Professional Series' Colour Inkjet from Brother, which incorporates the manufacturer's pioneering ‘Tube Engine Method' for printing.

The company is showcasing 11 new colour inkjet printers - nine for home and SOHO  applications and two for the SMB segment - at this year's show.

"The development of this breakthrough technology that addresses space constraints, which is a primary concern of small and medium businesses as well as home office users, is a testament to Brother's stronghold of pioneering technologies that shape this rapidly growing market," says Shinji Tada, managing director of Brother Gulf.

Brother Gulf's booth boasts individual product isles focusing on inkjet (DCPs and MFCs); mono laser (printers and MFCs); colour laser (printers and MFCs); wireless connectivity for printing, scanning and PC faxing; and P-Touch labelling solutions in conjunction with the new QL series of high-speed label printers.
