Dubai landmark trumps America's Empire State Building in list of the 'new' seven wonders of the world.
The Burj Al Arab has been voted one of the seven new wonders of the world in an online poll conducted by UK-based Teletext Holidays.
The hotel made the global list of modern-day marvels, which also included San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, the Empire State Building in New York and the Channel Tunnel.
Dubai's landmark took third place, behind the Sydney Opera House and the Eiffel tower.
