Software vendor CA has launched its Customer Alliance Progamme in the Middle East at GITEX Technology Week. The three-tiered initiative is designed to give end-users a voice within CA and allow the vendor to build long term relationships with its most committed customers in the region.

The initiative gives key CA clients access to tailored support levels, exclusive opportunities to enhance their relationship with CA and promotional perks to help build their brand.

Twenty customers from around the Middle East have already signed up to the scheme and will have a dedicated account manager overseeing the partnership.

CA insists that after several years of building up its Middle East operation the time is right to deploy the Alliance Programme in the region and replicate the success it has enjoyed elsewhere in EMEA. "The infrastructure is in place and we are now seeing the maturity of the customers," explains Bjarne Rasmussen, VP technical sales at CA. "At the same time, our level of engagement is more sophisticated and the size of the deals versus when we started out in the region means there is a strong need for the programme."
