Three-day event expected to welcome more than 21,000 visitors

Second edition of Abu Dhabi International Boat Show sets sail
ADIBS, which gets under way today (Wednesday) and will run until Saturday, has 284 companies and exhibitors taking part from 26 countries. National companies account for 48 percent of exhibitors, while the number of boats and yachts stand at 75.

The second edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) has seen a 29 percent increase in exhibition space from the 2018 event and five percent growth in participating companies and exhibitors.

ADIBS, which gets under way today (Wednesday) and will run until Saturday, has 284 companies and exhibitors taking part from 26 countries. National companies account for 48 percent of exhibitors, while the number of boats and yachts stand at 75.

Apart from the display of marine leisure vessels and equipment, visitors will be able to enjoy virtual reality fishing or get active on the water with powerboat training or learn from top fishing experts and influencers.

ADIBS is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre halls as well as the 31,000 sq m purpose-built ADNEC Marina that allows yachts of all sizes to be berthed and displayed immediately in front of their respective stands.

Over its three-day run, the exhibition will welcome visitors, professionals and families from 4pm to 10pm. Tickets for ADIBS can be purchased through the show’s website www.adibs.ae or at the exhibition entrance.
