Four Seasons Hotel Doha has partnered with celebrity chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa to open Nobu Doha at the hotel by the end of the year.
Designed by the Rockwell Group, the 26,000 square metre the restaurant will have three levels and offer panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf.
It will feature an expansive 192-seat interior dining area, a 10-seat sushi counter, two private dining rooms, and an 82-seat roof top lounge with indoor and outdoor seating options.
The restaurant has been in development for some time, with reports going as far back as 2010 about its planning.
Four Seasons Hotel Doha general manager and regional vice president Rami Sayess said in comments published by Hotelier Middle East: “The collaboration between these two iconic brands will both compliment and enrich Four Seasons’ already superb amenities for our discerning guests, as well as redefine Doha’s culinary scene as the most coveted restaurant in the region for epicureans and travellers alike.”
Nobu Matsuhisa added: “I'm very excited to finally open our second Nobu in the Middle East. It is an honour for me to be able to share my food and culture with different people around the world. I look forward to new challenges and adventures with the opening of Nobu Doha.”
