The UAE’s Centre of Excellence for Research and Training (Cert) has announced plans to launch a US$272.4 million initial public offering (IPO).

“There is tremendous interest in Cert and due to its status as a provider of educational services it is an attractive proposition. The initial public offering (IPO) should value the company at between US$270 to US$300,” said Dr. Tayeb Kamali, chief executive, Cert.

Cert is currently working on the investment timetable and is determining the dates for both the founding shareholders’ subscription and the public offering.
