Weather forecasters have predicted more rain to come for the UAE over the weekend.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) told Gulf News there is a chance of rain on Saturday in several parts of the country.
However, for the majority, pleasant conditions with occasional scattered clouds will continue over the next couple of days. Cloud cover will increase gradually over western areas, they said.
The UAE saw the season’s heaviest rainfall last weekend and Sunday which caused flooding in parts of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain.
Ten people were killed in traffic accidents attributed to the storms.
Over three days, 107mm of rain was recorded in Abu Dhabi, 35mm in Dubai and 74mm in Al Ain. The hardest hit area was Al Foah, near Al Ain, which recorded almost 150mm of rain.
