Cisco Expo Saudi 2009 to bring new technologies and best practices to Saudi decision makers
Cisco is set to host over 2,500 top business and IT executives at Cisco Expo Saudi 2009 in Riyadh next week.
The event, which is being held on 9th and 10th of February at the King Fahad Cultural Center in Riyadh, will focus on the theme of ‘Experience Today the Network of Tomorrow’.
The annual event is intended to allow business decision makers to share information on new technology trends, and to share best practice on how those technologies can be used to transform business and improve productivity.
Dr Badr Bin Hamoud Al Badr, managing director of Cisco Saudi Arabia, said: “In this current economic climate, companies are looking at smart technology solutions that can improve business productivity and enhance collaboration. Cisco Expo Saudi will include in-depth sessions on technologies including unified communications, collaboration solutions, connected home, smart education systems and web meetings.
The event also looks to harness the power of web media technologies to enhance the event experience and deliver content to a wider audience through services like Twitter and Facebook, and with sessions streamed live online via Cisco WebEx, session videos hosted on You Tube and live demos of Cisco TelePresence technology.
