Citibank gets new facilities management solution

New solution from Xerox will help Citibank streamline its printing and mailing processes.

Xerox Emirates has deployed a new facilities management solution at Citibank to help the bank streamline its printing and mailing processes. The multi-platform solution will also help Citibank incorporate ‘highlight colour’ that will enhance its document layout. “We were looking for a solution that would streamline our printing strategy, improve productivity levels, reduce our costs and also provide for future growth. After weighing several other solutions, we decided to go ahead with the solution that Xerox offered us,” said Mr. Narendra Kumar, head of Technology, Citibank, UAE. “With the Xerox Facilities management solution in place, we have been able to free up human resources to focus on our core activities,” he added.Xerox Emirates is currently printing all daily and monthly reports for the UAE operations. “Our print room functions include all banking and credit card statements for UAE, Bahrain and Oman operations. The maintenance, archiving and retrieval of data is being handled by our print room staff,” stated Mohamed Moharram, operations manager – Document Solutions Group, Xerox Emirates.Xerox spends $1 billion annually on developing customised solutions for customers. “We have managed to seamlessly integrate Citibank’s printing architecture. Our comprehensive hardware, software and services provide the tools Citibank requires to create personalised materials,” said Ayman Mattar, marketing manager, Xerox Emirates.
