Commodore commands Al Aryam

Abu Dhabi-based Commodore Contracting has been awarded the main construction package for the US $109 million (AED400 million) Al Aryam Tower.

Located on Al Mina Street, the 37-storey tower will be built over an area of 2,004m2.

Construction of the tower is expected to begin this week and is set to be completed within 35 months.

Architectural Consulting will provide the structural design, while EC Harris International has been chosen to manage and oversee construction. International Capital Trading (ICT) is the client.

“The launch of Al Aryam Tower coincides with the increase in demand for high-end residential units in Abu Dhabi, and the continual growth of the real estate sector in the UAE.

Al Aryam will provide cutting- edge technology and a contemporary lifestyle for our clients” said Hamad Abdallah Al Shamsi, CEO, ICT.

The 150m-high tower will provide 330 residential units in addition to four levels of underground parking.

ICT is currently planning a raft of new developments to keep up with Abu Dhabi’s construction boom.

Al Shamsi also said that ICT is in the final phase of commissioning its Al Bateen Towers development.
