Computer Associates joins Tech Access Solutions Centre

Customers will now be able to test solutions built on Computer Associates software at Tech Access' Solutions Centre in Dubai

Tech Access’ Solutions Centre has added another string to its bow, through a new collaboration with Computer Associates Middle East (CA-ME). Companies will now be able to test solutions built on CA applications, as part of the iForce initiative.iForce brings together Sun Microsystems, its partners and other vendors to collaborate on solutions. With the addition of CA-ME to the portfolio, Tech Access will be able to offer customers solutions built on CA and Sun technology, and be able to offer proof of concept testing at the Solution Centre.The centre will focus on providing solutions built on CA’s Unicenter enterprise management and eTrust security solutions for companies operating in areas such as oil & gas, financial services and utilities.“Testing and evaluation form a critical part of the decision-making process for companies looking to invest in enterprise management and security solutions. We’re delighted that this agreement will enable organisations in the region to fully assess the joint value of Sun and CA solutions before they invest,” explained Abdulaziz Al Salloum, managing director of CA-ME.“The facilities offered at the Tech Access Solutions Centre will ensure that companies fully understand the technological superiority of CA’s Unicenter and eTrust and work out the best practice implementation route before they install them within their own organisations,” he added.The Solutions Centre is a joint project between Sun and Tech Access, Sun’s regional Channel Development Partner. As an authorised iForce Ready Centre, the Solutions Centre provides an official platform for partners to test hardware and software deployments, to gauge return on investment of planned projects.Shomail Ghalib, managing director of Tech Access commented: “The key to the global success of iForce is the ethos of proof-of-concept.
