Arabtec Holding has announced that its subsidiary, Emirates Falcon Electromechanical Co (EFECO) has been awarded a AED117 million ($31 million) contract on Emaar’s Dubai Creek Harbour development in Dubai.
The contract, awarded by the main contractor AFC, covers the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works of the Creek Horizon Plot 19, according to a statement posted on Dubai Financial Market.
Creek Horizon’s towers are centrally located next to the central park of the Island District and next to EFECO’s ongoing project Creekside 18. Creek Horizon Plot 19 has a total built up area of approximately 130,000 square metres, it added in the statement.
The towers will feature about 550 apartments, EFECO said, adding that the project works will begin this month and are scheduled for completion in 20 months.
Hamish Tyrwhitt, Group CEO, said: "We are pleased that EFECO has been awarded another project in the Dubai Creek Harbour Development. Repeat business from our key clients is testament to our ongoing commitment towards applying innovative approaches to enhance our work and delivery capabilities.
"We look forward to working with AFC and on another project for Emaar Properties as we continue to build on our solid relationships in our core markets.”
