Its design is inspired by Southern European-clustered town configurations, comprising high-street features from British-Georgian downtowns.

Azizi Developments has awarded a major contract, valued at several hundred million dirhams, to the UAE-based Prestige Construction.

The contract includes the construction of eight buildings in Victoria, located in District 7, MBR City in Dubai, the developer said.

Victoria will be spread across 29.73 million sq ft and will be host to a lush green outdoor space, enriched with a vast array of health-focused and recreational amenities, Azizi added.

Its design is inspired by Southern European-clustered town configurations, comprising high-street features from British-Georgian downtowns.

MBR City will be home to over 27,555 units spread across 105 mid- and high-rise residential buildings.

Mohamed Ragheb, executive director – Engineering Division at Azizi Developments, said: “Our contract with Prestige Construction underlines our focus on working with best-in-class contractors to develop projects that reflect the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.”

Azizi Developments has so far sold over 11,000 residential units and has designated 2019 as its Year of Construction. Its contractors have poured over 165,000 tons of concrete, erected over 45 cranes, and constructed over 1.3 million sq ft across its ongoing projects.
