UAE's Azizi unveils new Dubai project for 'younger generation'

Farhad Azizi, CEO of Azizi Developments.

UAE-based Azizi Developments has announced the launch of Mirage, a new development designed with the young generation in mind in Dubai Studio City.

Mirage features 444 units comprising 253 studios, 155 one-bedroom and 366 two-bedroom apartments, the developer said.

It added that Mirage also features a gym, sauna, steam room, swimming pool, kids pool and playground, a retail area and a park.

Farhad Azizi, CEO of Azizi Developments, said: “Mirage in Studio City is our response to a rising demand for housing that reflects the aspirations of young millennials, a demographic that is of an increasing importance and holds the key to the growth of our economy.

"Dubai represents an ideal environment for this segment, with it being a promising city that allows young professionals to pursue an enhanced lifestyle. Empowered, financially confident and socially stable millennials are realising that owning a property, rather than renting one, enables them to invest in a lucrative asset while incurring lower monthly accommodation costs."

He added: "We are pleased to cater to this shift in awareness and understanding by not just tailoring our products to their liking, but by also helping them overcome their fear of commitment through affordable and flexible payment plan options.”

Azizi said it currently has 54 ongoing projects that are to be delivered between 2019 and 2023, and an additional 130 projects in planning, that are projected to be delivered between 2023 and 2025.
