Facilities Management Middle East Awards will stream its annual event, for the first time in its history, on www.fm-middleeast.com.

The awards ceremony, now in its 13th year, will be free to view on June 10.

The current Covid-19 pandemic has brought about numerous challenges in various sectors in carrying out routine business activities, which has seen several businesses come up with new and innovative ideas.

The FM fraternity, in particular, is on the frontlines of this “new normal” and is coping through innovative ideas and initiatives. A few FM firms have already adapted well to the current scenario and have come up with brand new initiatives to mitigate the circumstances.

FM Middle East, as a brand, is also adapting. Given the uncertainty, FM Middle East Awards was decided to be held virtually.

“We want to continue to acknowledge the achievements of the FM community in the Middle East over the past 12 months in the best way possible," said Rajiv Ravindran Pillai, editor of Facilities Management Middle East.

“While now may not be the appropriate time to celebrate, we feel it is a fitting time to give recognition to the FM sector’s accomplishments and shine a light on the inspiring work that is currently being done by FM companies to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Winners across all categories will be judged through an online blind ballot cast by a panel of judges.

The awards will be aired on www.fm-middleeast.com at 4pm on Wednesday 10th June. Subscribe to the Facilities Management Middle East newsletter to receive further updates.
