Consultants are in the zone

Offshore Dynamic's office opens in Sharjah's Hamriyah free zone.

Offshore Dynamics (ODL), marine consultancy providers, has opened its Middle East office in the Hamriyah free zone in Sharjah, UAE.

ODL, associates of the Noble Denton group are independent offshore consultants due to undertake large engineering projects in the Middle East and the Indian sub-continent region.

"We're anticipating considerable development in the Hamriyah free zone in the coming years and we thought it was an ideal place for us to establish a top-class engineering company," said David Sutton, CEO and managing director of the Noble Denton Group.

"With over 2 100 companies concentrated within one area, the Hamriyah free zone is an amazing force working together to further cement the UAE as a primary marine-supply and trading entity in the Middle East," said Reuben Segal, the Middle East projects director.

"The company is established, and the office is in the process of being completed. We have few staff in the office at the moment but we're undertaking a very active recruitment drive," added Sutton.

Noble Denton group has also recently acquired Lowe Offshore International (LOI).

"The Lowe Offshore acquisition is the third acquisition we have done this year, and we are looking to achieve more before the need of the year. We have target companies already identified and are hoping that we can make some more announcements," said Sutton.

"The combination of our companies is an ideal opportunity because there is no overlap in services offered by Lowe Offshore and the Noble Denton companies. This will allow us to strengthen our project management skills and systems to offer the industry a total package of services," added Michael Lowe, president of Lowe Offshore International.
