An Oman Air flight to from Muscat to Bangalore was forced to return to its base after it experienced technical glitch.

Oman’s national carrier said the flight WY283 took off from Muscat on Monday at 10.25am local time, with 154 passengers, three infants and six crew members on board.

Pilots on board the Boeing 737-800 decided to return the aircraft to Muscat due to what the airline described as a “technical glitch” during take-off. The flight landed safely at Muscat International, with all guests and crew disembarking smoothly.

All passengers were accommodated on an alternate flight that took off at 3pm local time from Muscat.
