Costa takes off at Sharjah Airport

Costa Coffee has opened its first outlet at Sharjah International Airport in the UAE.

Costa Coffee has opened its first outlet at Sharjah International Airport in the UAE. Located at the new terminal, the outlet's opening is part of the airport's expansion plans for more food and beverage outlets.

"In the future, Costa coffee will expand to other areas within the airport. This is the first step towards many international food and beverage concepts to come," said Ali Salem Al Midfa, director, Sharjah Airport Authority.

Costa Coffee UAE, a division of Emirates Leisure Retail, announced that the inauguration brought its outlets in the emirates to a total of 30. The outlet at Sharjah Airport is open to passengers in the transit lounges, as well as the departures and arrivals sections.

"Costa Coffee UAE recently won the global award for service excellence, so we are very happy with our business at the moment. Also, we recognise the huge growth potential of Sharjah International Airport, and look forward to bringing our product to a growing number of passengers," commented Simon Holroyd, regional manager, Costa Coffee UAE.

Costa Coffee recently opened an outlet at Dubai International Airport's arrival lounge also.
