Weather in the UAE is expected to be partly cloudy and hazy until Sunday, as the country witnessed light and modern rain this morning in parts of Dubai, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Daytime temperatures are expected to peak at 34°C in eastern areas, while Abu Dhabi and Dubai will see temperatures of 32°C. Northern emirates will likely experience cooler weather at 24°C.
Clouds will increase on Thursday over some areas during the day, thanks to northwesterly winds blowing dust and sand. Friday will be hazy at times and partly cloudy at others, but will also witness dust and sand and rough to moderate seas.
Saturday’s weather will be generally fair with calmer winds, while humidity will strike on Sunday morning, with the possibility of fog or mist formation. Slight to moderate seas are also expected.
The NCM urges drivers to be safe on open areas of land as they are most likely to be hit by blowing dust and sand, reducing visibility on the roads.
