The announcement was made during the Leadership Strategic Retreat 2019, which was chaired by the commander-in-chief of Dubai Police at Dubai Autodrome alongside assistants, directors of general and sub-departments, as well as a number of cadets and individuals.

Al Marri added that the Ideal Family initiative is one of the most important launched by Dubai Police, emphasising the family role in raising effective individuals in the society.

Brigadier General Sheikh Abdullah Al Mualla, director general of Excellence and Entrepreneurship, said: “Dubai Police aim to increase the safety and security feelings among the public through such initiatives to achieve the strategic target of making Dubai a happy and safe city.”

Four key areas for discussion at the event included, organised crime, first line of defence and security, emerging crimes and crisis management.
