UAE armed forces chief offers condolences to martyrs' families
A military ceremony was organised at Al Bateen Airport to mark the return of the six bodies.

The UAE Armed Forces Chief of Staff has offered his condolences to the families of Emirati martyrs following the arrival of the bodies of six soldiers at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, according to Emirates news agency WAM.

Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi was accompanied by a number of Armed Forces senior officials while visiting the families of Warrant Officer Nasser Mohamed Hamad Al Kaabi and Captain Saeed Ahmed Rashid Al Mansouri in the districts of Al Faw'a and Manazef in Al Ain.

The martyrs, whose bodies arrived aboard a UAE Air Force plane, included Warrant Officer Ali Abdullah Ahmed Al Dhanhani, Warrant Officer Zayed Musllam Suhail Al Amri, Warrant Officer Saleh Hassan Saleh bin Amro and Sergeant Saif Dhawi Rashid Al Tunaiji.

A military ceremony was organised at Al Bateen Airport to mark the return of the bodies.

The Emirati servicemen died in a vehicle collision during a military field operation, according to WAM, which cited the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces, however he gave no further information.
