Separate timings have been given for residential areas and industrial areas or worker accommodations
The UAE’s National Sterilisation Programme designed to combat the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has announced new timings in Abu Dhabi, it was announced on Monday.
In a tweet, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said that the sterilisation programme will take place in Abu Dhabi’s residential areas between 8pm and 6am.
The national sterilisation programme timings in Abu Dhabi:
Residential areas: from 8pm until 6am
Industrial zones and workers accommodations: from 6pm until 6am.

Industrial zones and worker accommodation areas will be disinfected between 6pm and 6am the following morning.
“Your commitment is a responsibility towards you, your family and the community,” the tweet added.
No further details of the programme’s plans in Abu Dhabi was given.
Earlier in April, UAE authorities that the National Sterilisation Programme is to continue indefinitely.
At the time, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) and the Ministry of Interior announced that new facilities and establishments across the country would be added to the plan, but that it is up to local entities to draw up and implement their own plans.
Movements of members of the public have been curtailed as a result of the programme unless it is deemed absolutely necessary to obtain essential food supplies or medicine or perform vital jobs.
On Monday, March 6, the UAE confirmed 277 new cases of coronavirus in the country, bringing the total to 2,076. There have also been 11 fatalities and 167 recoveries.
