Dubai has successfully disinfected 100 percent of its districts, although some densely populated areas will be sterilised again, according to a senior official from Dubai Civil Defence.
Brigadier Ali Hassan Al Mutawa, the assistant director-general of fire and rescue at Dubai Civil Defence, was quoted in Gulf News as saying that the disinfection campaign was completed across Dubai as of April 27.
“We will repeat the sterilisation in areas with large movement,” he said. “We sterilised dozens of major sites in the city. We also sterilised workers accommodation and spread awareness among the workers.”
