Couples in Abu Dhabi can now get married without paper forms or in-person visits.
A new AI-powered digital marriage-contract service on the TAMM platform now lets couples complete, certify, and authenticate their marriage contracts entirely online.
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), in partnership with the Department of Government Enablement, unveiled the initiative during GITEX Global 2025 at the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion.

It reflects the emirate’s drive to modernise public services and advance a seamless, people-centred digital ecosystem.
The new service is part of Abu Dhabi’s broader digital-transformation strategy to make all key life events accessible through a single platform.
By digitising one of the UAE’s most significant legal milestones, the initiative sets a new regional benchmark for smart, AI-driven governance and enhances Abu Dhabi’s position as a global smart-city leader.
Through TAMM, users can apply online, enter details for all parties involved — the groom, bride, guardian, and witnesses — and upload supporting documents.
The system verifies information instantly via UAE Pass and connected government databases, including pre-marital medical data.
Once officials approve the contract electronically, the system issues a digitally certified copy.
Couples can also request authentication from relevant authorities and download an approved version for use abroad — all completed securely within minutes.

Milestone collaboration
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, and Dr Mohamed Abdelhamid Al Askar, Director-General of TAMM at the Department of Government Enablement.
Al Abri said: “Providing marriage contract services via the TAMM platform marks a significant milestone in the department’s digital judicial and notary transformation.”
He added that integrating services within a unified digital system supports the vision of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of ADJD, to deliver innovative smart services that strengthen Abu Dhabi’s global competitiveness.
Dr Mohamed Al Askar said: “The integration of marriage contracts service into the TAMM platform represents a significant milestone that reflects cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.
“It aims to continuously facilitate the lives of community members and share with them one of the most important moments in their lives through the new AI-powered version of TAMM.”
Fast, simple and secure
The digital platform removes the need to navigate multiple systems or re-enter data, reducing procedural steps and processing time.
The system’s intuitive interface guides users step by step, verifies data instantly, and processes quickly to issue and authenticate every marriage contract to international standards.
Officials said the integration will improve service accuracy and sustainability while reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s leadership in building a smart, efficient judicial system that supports quality of life for residents.
Looking ahead
Authorities plan to expand TAMM’s scope to include more life-event and judicial services under a single digital framework, further consolidating Abu Dhabi’s status as a regional testbed for next-generation government services.
