Sharjah Police has launched a new fleet of smart patrols and traffic wardens equipped with advanced technology to boost operational efficiency and emergency response across the emirate.
Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, inaugurated the fleet as part of a broader initiative to enhance road safety, strengthen security, and improve the force’s rapid response capabilities.
The new vehicles are fitted with modern communication systems and data analysis tools that enable officers to receive reports, assess field information in real time, and make faster decisions during incidents.
The upgrade marks a new phase in Sharjah Police’s digital transformation strategy, aimed at increasing the speed and accuracy of on-ground operations.
Major General bin Amer expressed his appreciation to Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continued support of the emirate’s security initiatives.
He also extended his gratitude to Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for his close follow-up and ongoing commitment to advancing the police system.
Brigadier Khalid Al Kay, Director of the Traffic and Patrol Department said: “The new patrols represent a significant leap in technical readiness, providing smart systems that empower police officers to respond swiftly to reports and improve response times, directly contributing to strengthening community security.”
