Cyberoam sets sail with Seven Seas

Seven Seas signed as authorised partner for security vendor in the UAE

UAE-based corporate reseller Seven Seas has fleshed out its security portfolio by linking up with unified threat management (UTM) specialist Cyberoam.

Seven Seas will serve as an authorised partner for Cyberoam in the UAE, selling its appliances into the enterprise sector. The 350-strong company targets a number of verticals, including banking, hospitality, real estate and oil and gas.

Kevan Draper, CEO at Seven Seas, insists that growing awareness of the Cyberoam brand among regional users influenced its decision to tie up with the company.

“Cyberoam’s products are rapidly gaining strength in the Middle East market due to its identity based technology which enables the enterprises to tackle both external and internal threats effectively,” he said. “With Cyberoam in our portfolio, we would be able to serve our customer’s comprehensive security requirements through its next-generation technology and excellent marketing and technical support.”

Harish Chib, VP for new business development at Cyberoam, an Elitecore Technologies company, expects the partnership to bring immediate rewards. “The enterprise sector has shown great potential for UTM solutions in the Middle East,” he said. “Combining the strength of Seven Seas in having strong hold over the enterprise sector and the unique identity based security provided of Cyberoam will result in a win-win situation.”
