DCCI kicks off in Jafza

HE Hamad Mubarak Buamim, director general of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) recently attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the chamber's new branch building at Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA).

HE Hamad Mubarak Buamim, director general of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) recently attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the chamber's new branch building at Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA).

The new building, which is being constructed by Dutco Balfour Beatty, is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2007.

It will provide all DCCI commercial services to the growing members and clients in Jebel Ali.

"Dutco Balfour Beatty is proud to have been selected by the client to act as the main contractor on this specific project and we are looking forward to working with DCCI and their consultant team on this project," said Grahame McCaig, general manager, Dutco Balfour Beatty.

The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the project manager J R Harris and Partners and Blair Anderson, the project's cost consultant.
