Dell has developed new tape drives and media based on LTO-4 technology to help customers protect their business-critical data. The new PowerVault LTO-4-120 drives could enable companies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to achieve device-level encryption, a security measure not previously available on the market. Dell believes the tape drives will provide greater security, capacity and performance intergenerational operability.
