Dell outlines Gitex plans

Hardware vendor Dell has announced its plans for this year’s Gitex and Gitex Shopper and is promising to present a family of new generation products alongside its channel partners during this year’s IT extravaganza.

Hardware vendor Dell has announced its plans for this year’s Gitex and Gitex Shopper and is promising to present a family of new generation products alongside its channel partners during this year’s IT extravaganza.

“Reinforcing the importance of the fast growing IT market in the Middle East, Dell through long-standing alliances with its strategic partners will expand its business potential in the region,” explained Michael Collins, general manager at Dell Middle East.

“We have a strong offering of new products available immediately, ranging from small office home office (SOHO) products to enterprise applications and power solutions,” Collins added.

Dell’s latest notebook computers will be available at Gitex Shopper. At the main Gitex event itself, Dell will look to build interest in its expanded portfolio of solutions including PowerEdge servers, PowerConnect switches, PowerVault storage systems, colour and inkjet multifunction printers and additional peripherals.

“Dell is committed to offering its customers the latest technology at the best value and quality,” added Collins. “The application for which customers are using their PCs are becoming more demanding, requiring such things as more memory and faster processing speeds. As such, we are continuously updating and expanding our comprehensive product offering to meet our customer needs.”

At the main Gitex event, Dell’s UAE partners Emirates Computers and Key Information Technology will both showcase the vendor’s product portfolio. Dell products will also be available through multiple retailers participating in Gitex Shopper this year.
