Desert Palm to host celebrity skincare guru

Dubai’s new boutique resort Desert Palm has reveled that it is set to welcome top skincare guru Anastasia Achilleos to its Lime Spa next month.

Dubai’s new boutique resort Desert Palm has reveled that it is set to welcome top skincare guru Anastasia Achilleos to its Lime Spa next month.

Described as expert to the stars and a celebrity in her own right, Achilleos will be offering Lime Spa clients the chance to experience her bespoke facial therapy called Intelligent Facial.

A 90-minute Intelligent Facial, which includes an in-depth lifestyle consultation, is designed to create a journey that explores the mind-body relationship through a combination of Indian-style techniques, facial tissue release, reiki, craniosacral therapy and chakra energy massage.

The ultimate aim is to ensure the client looks and feels aligned, restored and rejuvenated, inside and out.

Achilleos said: “I am always the student and my client’s body is the teacher”.

The philosophy is supported by Lime Spa, which encourages its therapists to avoid a ‘one-size-fits-all’ package and tailor treatments to the individual.

One way this is achieved is through the spa’s Realm Rituals, which use colour to balance the chakras. Guest choose from five colours — red, yellow, green, blue and violet — and colour therapists ensure that the treatment room, oils, scent and music match that colour.

Achilleos will be at Desert Palm, which is operated by Per Aquum, from September 4-7.

She will then be offering the Intelligent Facial, which costs US $320 at Per Aquum’s Lime Spas at The Fortress Sri Lanka from Septemebr 11-13 and at Huvafen Fushi Maldives from September 17-22.
