DHL starts Import Express campaign

DHL UAE has launched its latest international shipping campaign 'Import Express'.

DHL UAE has launched its latest international shipping campaign 'Import Express'. The service allows customers to order import shipments from overseas destinations with shipping costs paid in the UAE in local currency.

The express logistics provider hopes the campaign will demonstrate its expertise in importing anything from anywhere in the world.

“Our mission at DHL is providing customers with the superior levels of customer service they provide to their customers,” commented David Wild, general manager, DHL UAE. “It means being flexible and responsive, taking ownership and working closely as a partner to develop solutions specific to each customer's needs.”

The new 'Import Express' service follows another recent launch made by DHL UAE in February this year. The company started a range of Time Definite Products to enhance its regional service, focusing on time as a defining element in allowing customers to better manage their own resources.

DHL UAE provided the new product portfolio due to an increasing need of customers to have more choice of transit times, from a pre-9am or pre-noon delivery service and next day express, to second day delivery and express freight for heavyweight shipments. The product also guarantees express and logistics needs are met effectively, cost efficiently and ensures shipment size flexibility.

“We want our customers to know they are at the heart of everything we do as a company as everyone at DHL, from our couriers to our executives, is committed to delivering a superior customer service experience at every touch point,” added Wild.

To compliment its new service offerings, DHL UAE was recently awarded with a TAPA A Certification (Technology Asset Protection Association) to mark its contribution towards security standards. It is the first logistics company in the Middle East to be awarded with the A standard certificate.
