DiData secures Cisco telepresence provider status

Dimension Data appointed global authorised provider for Cisco's telepresence technology

International systems integration giant Dimension Data, has been named telepresence global authorised technology provider by vendor partner Cisco.

This certification includes the Middle East region which is overseen by Sideek Rahim, managing director, Dimension Data Gulf Region, working out of the Dubai-based Middle East headquaters.

Rahim says that he is excited about this development in the pair’s global partnership which positions the SI as one of only three partners to be awarded Cisco’s Global ATP certification.

“We are sure our customers will be happy with our ability to provide the best technical support, service and expertise in installing Cisco TelePresence,” asserted Rahim regarding the level of care that Dimention Data can offer its end-users.

Dimention Data claims that this tie-up with Cisco demonstrates its desire to develop expertise in the world of complex networking technologies. It also points out that this achievement puts it as one of only a handful of partners in all five Cisco theatres with the skills to sell, design, install, and support Cisco Telepresence globally.
