DMI Content on new media

A new partnership agreement with Jump TV and the UAE’s telecom operators, Etisalat and du, will enable state-owned media company Dubai Media Incorporated to offer mobile and internet TV services to its viewers.

A new partnership agreement with Jump TV and the UAE’s telecom operators, Etisalat and du, will enable state-owned media company Dubai Media Incorporated to offer mobile and internet TV services to its viewers. DMI viewers will also be able to tune in to their favourite programmes through its website www.dmi.ae via the Jump TV service.

“This tie up will allow users with 3G-enabled handsets to watch live streaming of DMI news, sport and entertainment channels by subscribing to Etisalat or du’s Mobile TV service,” commented Ahmad Al Shaikh, managing director of DMI. “This endeavour will pave the way for enhanced services in the future that bring some of the best pan-Arab broadcasting content to a wider global audience.”

Provided by Etisalat, internet streaming of video on-demand content (VOD) from any of DMI’s channels can be accessed through DMI’s website.
