Dubai Outsource Zone (DOZ) will take aim at the hospitality sector next year, a senior executive said.

Dubai Outsource Zone (DOZ) will take aim at the hospitality sector next year, a senior executive said.

Presently the free zone targets four verticals: banking and finance; insurance; health; and information technology. After DOZ completes phase three of the zone's development next year, it will also address the hospitality sector, according to Ismail Al Naqi, director of DOZ.

"DOZ wants to get actively involved into the back office operations of the hospitality segment," Al Naqi told

To accommodate its targeting of new customer verticals DOZ is also expanding its facilities, Al Naqi said.

The zone has invested US$50million and provided office space of one million square feet for phase three of its development, out of a total of 33 million square.

Al Naqi said DOZ will also look outside the UAE to attract customers.

"DOZ has been servicing clients from here for Saudi markets and therefore it definitely has a lot of potential," Al Naqi explained to
