Driver was speeding and lost control of her four-wheel vehicle, says police
A female driver was killed after her car crashed into a barrier at the entrance of Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai Police said on Saturday.
The driver, who was driving in excess of the speed limit at around 6am, lost control of her four-wheel vehicle due to a road deviation and crashing into the concrete pillar, said Colonel Saif Al Mazrouei, director of the traffic department, Dubai Police.
The driver was pronounced dead at hospital, the police said.
