The 2014 installment of du’s annual CEO forum will feature serial entrepreneur Richard Branson, with the event revolving around the themes of leadership and entrepreneurship.

The CEO Forum 2014 takes place in Dubai on 24 March, with some of the region’s top executives gathering at the invitation-only event which this year is entitled ‘Innovation Odyssey’.

Drawing inspiration from Branson’s experiences in business and life, attendees will be able to discuss a range of topics designed to increase their capabilities as leaders.

CEO of du, Osman Sultan, said: “It gives me great pleasure to announce our fifth CEO Forum, a premier event for CEOs and top executives that has grown in stature by leaps and bounds since the time we started it.

“During our lifetime there are very few global business leaders in the league of Sir Richard Branson who excel in ‘disruptive’ strategic thinking and in making a tangible difference to the society we live in, and I look forward to welcoming him as the speaker to yet another successful edition of our upcoming business event.”

Starting his business career as a 16 year old with a magazine called The Student, Branson has become a by-word for entrepreneurialism. His Virgin Group holds more than 200 companies in more than 30 countries, and according to the Forbes 2012 list of billionaires, he is the sixth richest citizen in the UK, with an estimated worth of $4.6bn.
