Du joins Globalcom for UAE data services

Telecom to offer a new range of services via the Indian operator's worldwide network.

Telecoms provider du is to offer a range of data services in the UAE in partnership with Reliance Globalcom.

An agreement between the two firms will enable them to jointly offer services from the virtual Point of Presence including Global Ethernet, Managed Services, IP VPN and MPLS, du said in a statement.

Du vice president Andrew Grenville said “du customers will benefit from direct access to the Reliance Globalcom worldwide network. We are certain it will improve the diversity and resilience of our network while opening up new avenues for rich and innovative content for du business customers”.

Reliance Globalcom, a division of Reliance Communications, spearheads the Global Telecom operations of India’s largest Integrated Telecom Service Provider.

It’s wholesale product ‘Reliance FLAG’ is the world’s largest private undersea cable system, spanning 65,000 kilometres and connecting 37 key business markets in India, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the US.
