Mansour Bin Jabr

Company: Bin Jabr Group

Designation: Chief operating officer

Country: UAE

Defence, military, oil, contracting, retail, real estate, hospitality; you name it, Mansour Bin Jabr has a hand in it. And the 30-year-old chief operating officer of Bin Jabr Group is not afraid to say it. Despite being one of four sons to chairman Saeed Bin Jabr Al Suwaidi, Mansour has his eyes set on his father’s title.

Besides taking part in the group’s defence operations, which remain at its core, bringing in most of its $1.1bn in annual revenues, the young Bin Jabr has a hearty hunger for restaurants. “I always wanted to be the biggest in licensed F&B in the Middle East by the age of 30,” he told Arabian Business as he revealed that he “personally” acquired 51 percent of support service firm 4-front Hospitality as well as seven outlets in Dubai and London including The Scene, Crab Tavern and Powder Room. It is safe to say, then, that what Bin Jabr wants, Bin Jabr gets. “I hate losing, to be honest. I don’t want to sound arrogant, but I don’t remember losing,” he said.
