Stocks worth less than AED10 will now trade to three decimal places on Dubai Financial Market.
Dubai Financial Market, the Gulf Arab region's only listed exchange, is changing the way it lists stocks in a move to encourage trading, it said in a statement on Thursday.
Stocks worth less than 10 dirhams will now trade to three decimal places.
For securities with a value above 10 dirhams, the minimum decimal fraction will be changed to 0.01 dirham from 0.05 dirham, DFM said.
The changes take effect March 11. (Reuters)
