Dubai Financial Market, the Gulf Arab region's only listed exchange, is changing the way it lists stocks in a move to encourage trading, it said in a statement on Thursday.

Stocks worth less than 10 dirhams will now trade to three decimal places.

For securities with a value above 10 dirhams, the minimum decimal fraction will be changed to 0.01 dirham from 0.05 dirham, DFM said.
