Manazel Al Khor, the luxury residential project overlooking the historic Dubai Creek, is currently at 70 percent completion, according to its developer.

Dubai Properties said in a statement that the development is on schedule for handover during the summer of 2016.

Marwan Al Kindi, executive director, Sales and Sales Operations said: "We are gearing up to handover Manazel Al Khor this summer as we are currently working according to the planned development timeline. The show apartment is now ready to welcome our customers to our first creek-side development."

Manazel Al Khor is located at the heart of Dubai and inspired by the UAE's local architecture. It spans across an area of 255,000 square feet, and is set between promenade walkways and landscaped features.

Its design encompasses 98 residential units ranging from one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments offering views of the Creek, in addition to lifestyle amenities and commercial and retail spaces.

Culture Village will be the city’s first creek-side development with residential, commercial, retail, entertainment and cultural components, attracting both international and regional visitors.

Manazel Al Khor will feature 3.8km of promenade walkways and landscaped features, a traditional-style souk and mixed use complex overlooking an internal canal, and a centrally located marina with mooring and access points.

The luxury residential project aims to stay true to traditional Arabic themes and will feature local architecture, with shared amenities including a gym and pool.
